BMW couldnt resist the temptation. Mini E has been raced at the Nordschleife in an specially prepared Mini E Race-version. The 204 HP strong engine had new electronics, the weight of the car was reduced through a special body. Brakes, suspension and aerodynamics is from the racingdep. Spent two days around Paris in two versions of the new XJ, the 3-litre diesel (long wheelbase) and the new topmodel Supersport (short wheelbase) with the supercharged V8. The diesel is a strong performer, but compared to the Supersport with the 510 HP version of the V8, the result is quite predictable. The full report will be in Motor, out on Saturday the 17 April.
