MTM RS6 Nardo-record

MTM has been the wicked guys at German Auto, Motor und Sports "Nardo highspeed shootout" before. This time they beat all the competition with a top speed of 344,2 km/h at the oval track. The car surely is strong enough, some 700 HP catapults it from 0-200 km/h in 11 seconds.
Congratulations! Auto, Motor und Sport will bring the full report in magazine nr 22, out 8th October. Wonder if it has something to with this amazing line-up?

Next generation BMW M5

This video shows the next M5, and the sound is very muffled. It might be a V8 with turbos, which should give the competition some serious headache. But I will miss the absolutely glorious V10, a magnificent engine in every aspect.

Porsche in Japan

The Japanese company Rauh-Welt (RWB) makes some real wild Porsches, mainly based on 911, 964 and 993. They have also started working on 996 lately. It is not the easiest task to get information about the company, one of the better sources is speedhunters.com

Avus Performance TT-RS, Stage 3

Berlin-based Avus Performance has lots of beastly-looking goodies (like this wonderful Nissan GT-R), one of them this special TT-RS. Given their most extreme treatment, the engine puts out 460 HP and 640 Nm. The 20-inch wheels (255/30) looks good in combination with height-adjustable suspension, but might be a bit to much for track use.

Coming: New MB CLS 63 AMG

This is the next generation CLS. The topmodel and its 6,3-litre V8 is supposed to crank out some 518 HP. I guess the sound of the car will be more notable when finished, its a AMG after all, isn´t it?

Gemballa Panamera

The GT "R"

The GT

Here are real pictures of how Gemballa gives the Panamera a first touch-up. They offer two versions, the GT Sport 22" and R 22". The biggest difference as far as I can see, is the one-piece wheel alternatively multipiece for the "R". Dimensions are 10x22 ET 50 with 265/30 and 11x22 ET 55 with 315/25.

SLS ready for museum

Before it even has hit the streets, MB has put the new "Gullwing" SLS into their museum. Which is well worth a visit by the way, cause its really great.

Sharkwerks beastly GT3 RS

American Porsche-specialist Sharkwerks has given the the beast more cubic inches, the result is a 3,9-litre RS with 500 HP. Wonder if this influences on the ability to rev as wildly as it does from factory.... The video looks and sounds very promising, though.

Fawlty Towers and Red Bull Airrace

I really like and enjoy Barcelona in Spain, but as all other places on earth, hotels just never work out as planned. We arrived at the hotel, but do you think the Internet worked? No. Since saturday no internet, until now. A kind bar down the street opened their gates to the information highway. So the break is over, dear readers!
Regarding the airrace I will post pictures in the next days.
