The word has been circulating for a while; BMW is testing out a rawer M3 at the Nürburgring. New spoiler at the front, high bootspoiler at rear is visual clues. The roll cage that worlcarfans.com (source of the video) points out, is probably mostly a safety device for the test drivers - this is not uncommon in the testcars lapping the circuit hundreds of rounds.
